Elissa Telfer - Director

Elissa works with senior executives and their team members to win and grow business and negotiate better deals.   In addition to working with clients in programmes, Elissa is a seasoned coach who has worked on many live pitches, assisting clients to win competitive pieces of business.  Much of Elissa's time is spent developing and delivering sales and communication-based training for clients across a range of industries including financial services, pharmaceutical companies, mining and advertising and marketing.

 

Prior to founding Telfer & Associates, Elissa spent 10 years working with  rogenSi, a global consultancy specialising in high stakes communication, where she was a Principal Consultant and part of the London Leadership team.  Previous roles include Business Development Manager for the Canberra Convention Bureau and Marketing Manager for a four star executive hotel in Australia.

 

Although Elissa is based in London, she has worked with clients in many other locations including New York, Hong Kong, Australia, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands.   Elissa is a graduate of universities in Australia and England and holds a BA Communication, BSc (hons) Psychology and is currently completing her Masters in Psychology.

  • Worked with clients such as BBC, Barclays, Rio Tinto, Novartis, J.P. Morgan, M&C Saatchi, BHP Billiton, Citigroup, Bloomberg, Deutsche Bank, Microsoft MSN, Henderson Global Investors, Johnson & Johnson, Towers Perrin, Daily Mail, Deloitte and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
  • Elissa regularly coaches senior managers 1-1, is involved with the design of bespoke programmes, speaks at conferences and runs training programmes for small to large groups of participants.
